The diversity, intensity, and easy sophistication of electronic music has fuelled Steve Duncan’s creativity as a DJ, propelling him towards a sound that is rich, vibrant, and human. Drawn to free-flowing, melancholic tonalities from his studies of classical music as a child, Steve’s musical signature today tends towards the rhythmic and percussive, yet always paints a striking emotional landscape. Cutting his teeth as a DJ in his home country of Australia many moons ago, Steve’s finely-honed aesthetic reached further fruition upon moving to Berlin in 2013, where he later co-founded the Patterns of Perception platform with five of his closest friends. Now based in Helsinki, Steve’s uncanny ear for music of elemental simplicity, sophistication and emotional richness infuses all that he creates.
