Spending many years wrestling with record boxes through London’s West End streets to play at the renowned Gardening Club every Tuesday and Friday. Steve celebrated his 30th birthday playing an 8 hour set in Pacha Ibiza’s Funky Room while Danny Tenaglia delivered the heat in the email room, this was later to be voted the Best Ibiza Party of the season by DJ Mag. Through the noughties, Steve was the owner and resident DJ at the Candy Store, Plymouth, "One of the greatest clubs in the country" - MixMag. Brandon Block was also a big fan of the club as mentioned in his autobiography. Steve was also behind the award-winning online record store Needle to the Groove, providing DJ's and music fans alike with the latest imports and promos, fresh off the press from New York, Paris, Berlin and London. Steve is now part of the team/resident at DancersHip which hosts some of the best nights in the Southwest every summer at one of Plymouth’s most beautiful locations and outdoor venues, The Terrace. Expect to see in 2022, Todd Terry, Mousse T., Jonathan Ulysses, Grant Nelson, Richard Earnshaw, Moodena, Victor Simonelli… Responsible for compiling the Monthly DancersHip show, available via MixCloud and regularly positioned in the top 3 Global House and Soulful House charts while rubbing shoulders with Defected Records and Glitterbox.
