Conceived at Taaffe 'Space is the Place', Donny’s infamous loft space. A Baltimore/Brooklyn underground legend, Donny spent years in the trenches of B’more & DC, cementing his reputation for dug-out, genre-free cuts with an encyclopedic knowledge of dance music and show-stealing side room appearances at renown house-leaning institutions. DatKat (Kat Smith), half of Analog Soul and a seasoned DJ long before their international success, Kat’s sound is diverse like the duo’s, who routinely split the difference between their own styles, diving into house, techno, dub, disco, drum & bass and the kitchen sink in differing proportions depending on setting.
