Emotive Electronic Dance Music. Born in Cleveland, OH, the enigmatic producer Sound On Tape draws influence from legends El-B, Burial, Larry Heard, and DJ Sticky as well as deep seated Black gospel icons CL Franklin, TL Barret, and Mahalia Jackson. His first EP Hush Harbors cements his unique blend of electronic music rooted in Garage, 2-Step, Jazz and beyond. Released through London’s Four40 Records, the project places him alongside labelmates Hybrid Theory, Higgo, Billy Kenny, El-B, and Albazzy.
