Sound Dimention Sound System

Based in Hamilton, Ontario, Sound Dimention Sound System was created to produce the energy of sound system culture as it evolved on this side of the Atlantic, echoing the tradition shaped by Jamaican communities in the UK. The setup features vintage speaker boxes chosen to replicate the deep, heavyweight sound that defined the UK reggae scene from the 1970s onward. Many of these boxes come from Toronto-based sound systems of the 70s and 80s, adding a strong layer of local history and authenticity to each session. Every show is a living tribute to the culture and energy of dub, roots, and jungle, with fresh dubplates and new sonic discoveries showcased each time. Sound Dimention Sound Syetem is committed to keeping the tradition alive by honoring its past while pushing it forward into new territory.
