Soulski has been DJing for 20 years: Soul, Funk, Breakbeats, Boogie, Polish Funk, Latin and Afro rhythms. He came up with Wedding Soul in 2010, then pulled it off as a giant party with his old crew at Berlin's Panke for 66 months straight: With guests from all over the world, full dance floor and a lot of unique moments. All of Berlin was talking about it! Since 2017 Soulski continues solo: Either as a guest DJ or as the host of his no less legendary wandering show STRANGER FUNK (Klunkerkranich, DasHotel (RIP), Sunday Radio, Panke). In 2023 he starts anew and goes on tour, expands STRANGER FUNK further and looks forward to 1000s of new faces on the dancefloor. His humor is legendary, in his heart and in his fingers, and so are his sets: a huge, motley mix of music from a wide variety of decades and regions of the world. But what is STRANGER FUNK? Stranger Funk Stranger Funk is a monster that combines everything: sweet soul, driving disco sounds, raw funk and rhythmic boogie. Sometimes it's a party with a 9-piece band on stage that breaks everything away, sometimes it's a contemplative Sunday radio and still another time it's a Wednesday afternoon in the park. No matter what, Soulski is behind it and has come up with something again. And yes, it is always special and chosen. No run-of-the-mill event, but quite personal, quite polished and (almost) always from vinyl records.
