Soulcontrol is the project of Berlin-based DJ and producer Mauricio De Nardi. His style is heavily influenced by tribal techno rhythms from the 2000s combined with raw and fast house to techno bangers. Having grown up with a Latin American musician as a father, Mauricio's Argentinian roots and early musical education cannot be omitted from his style, and are always clearly audible in his rhythms and song selection. The mood of his music and sets are at times euphoric and at times darker, however a high energy level remains a constant driving force at all times. Mauricio has performed in a number of well-known clubs over the last decade, including Griessmühle, Golden Gate, Wilde Renate, Arena, Chalet and Pal, all under his previous artist names Tech9Soul and De Nardi 893. With his project Tech9Soul, he has even gained support from the brand Nike. Soulcontrol is currently working on his debut techno EP, which is set to be released in 2022.
