Established in 2021, Soul Service started off as  a free weekly summer outdoor party in Old Town, Alexandria, VA. The org later expanded to also include DuPont Circle to its outdoor parties, before eventually being invited to play at club spaces in Washington DC in early 2023. Soul Service's roots are in honoring club culture, and providing accessible spaces for movement expression. Soul Service prides itself in placing the community of artists and music enjoyers that attend front and center - for without the community that supports the events, Soul Service would never exist.
