SOPHIA is a Manchester based Global Club/UK Bass DJ of Cypriot & Guyanese heritage. Her sound is rooted in the distinct UK bass sounds of Garage,UK Funky and House. However SOPHIA weaves in music from all over the world that she grew up dancing to at home or in the club, from Dancehall, Reggaeton, Baile Funk, R&B and SWANA club edits. The blends are so seamless linked by feelings of JOY and the desire to dance. Ultimately reflecting the complete melting pot of sounds and cultures that ignite her love for music. Across her career SOPHIA has supported Girls Don't Sync, Zed Bias, Reek0, IZCO, Kurupt FM, Rosa Pistola, Champion, Soul Mass Transit System...and is a 2024 Pirate Resident. SOPHIA is also a BBC 6Music Producer and Presents her own Dance Music Radio Show on Reform Radio where she has interviewed that likes of Grammy Nominated DJ/Producer Bianca Oblivion and DJ/MC Reek0.
