In 2007, he started as RafX with live preforms. From the beginning he presented a raw, minimalistic Techno sound, which became popular in the years 2008-2016 in the Polish underground scene. He performed as Raf Mickiewicz in all important cities for Techno culture in Poland. He lived and performed primarily in Poznań - the Polish capital of Techno. However, his first releases on Code2 Recordings in Berlin were a melodic form of minimal. From the beginning he cooperated with many musicians and producers, creating remixes and mastering for them. Since 2012 he has been living and creating music in northern Germany. In 2014 he opened the Distorted Recordings. Now is working on new material for releases and gigs in 2026.
