Sojourna (aka Benji) has been DJing and throwing parties since 2019 focusing on DIY community building at intimate venues around Tokyo. His parties showcase both established and underrated Tokyo talents. His most recent venture is the popular Body Trip party at Nakano Bar Smith. As a DJ he draws from his formative years at rave parties in Detroit, twisting the dancefloor with long-blended techno hypnotics, reduced acid, house voodooism, and tripping minimal dance excursions. Sojourna (aka Benji) は、2019年から東京のアンダーグラウンドシーンで自ら「DIYのコミュニティ」を形成し、その結果独自のパーティーを確立した。彼のパーティーは数々の大御所DJと共にフレッシュなアーティストもスポットライトしている。中でも近年のベンチャーとして、Nakano Bar Smithでの人気パーティー「Body Trip」を手掛けている。 Sojournaは、自身の形成時代をもたらしたデトロイトレイブパーティーを音源にロングブレンドされたテクノ催眠術、減じたアシド、ハウスブードゥー教といったトリッピーなミニマルダンス・エクスカーションでダンスフロアを捻じ曲げていいる。
