His first encounter with electronic music took place thanks to a cousin who had access to the clandestine raves held in those years around 2005 in Guadalajara Jalisco, like Rounders or Equinox, just to mention a few. Later on, he would study Visual Arts at the University of Guadalajara where he would found, next to a group of friends, a music/art based collective named "La Rassa" same that would evolve into a music label, now called “LR records”. Trying to define Sojo's style when it comes to a djset can become somewhat complicated, because although he bases his sound on "House" this does not limit him to experiment with other genres; such as Minimal, IDM, Disco, Mambo, Salsa, Rock, Breaks, Bossa nova, among others. His productions lean more towards catchy and melancholic melodies influenced by his mother's musical taste from the 90's, adding sounds of progressive percussions that he took from the way his brother played the drums, he created his characteristic sound.
