Hailing from the West Midlands, Smudge spent 7 years cutting his teeth on music in London running Tropical and Chillout club nights and parties all over London working with outfits including Love Carnival, Total Refreshment Centre and Flamingods. After London Smudge spent 5 years in Saigon, Vietnam he was known to be hard at work behind the scenes of nightlife, bringing music to dance floors wherever he could. One of Vietnam’s key players in the industry he was co-founder of Banana Hustle (Vietnam's premiere Tropical Party), Secret Weekend (A boutique festival based on Soundsystem culture and immersive AV experience), founder of Hazy Lemons (A Leftfield Sunday Party & Podcast) and booker and Resident DJ at WAM Saigon (The city’s top audiophile bar). Not one for sticking to genres, Smudge has a passion for dynamics, jumping effortlessly from Electronic & Organic, Hard & Soft, Light & Dark, Loud & Quiet.
