Introducing Slowpo; the multi-hyphenate emerging from the depths of Birmingham. In a previous life, Slowpo was a member of the West Midlands based collective “OG Horse” - which boasts an impressive alumni featuring the likes of Jorja Smith and Wesley Joseph. Now residing in Manchester and best known for his DJ skills, shutting down parties all over the UK and internationally. Slowpo regularly draws for a heavy artilery of edits and remixes over a range of genres from Hip Hop, Dancehall, UK Funky & Future Beats. Showing his extensive music knowledge through his quick mixes and unpredictable selections. More recently known for his Slowpo Sound System events, showcasing emerging DJs and artists and allowing them to explore their sound. Slowpo Sound System has found it's Manchester home at award winning venue Soup, whilst partnering with Size? to be able to book an array of headliners whilst sticking to the events core ethos of inclusivity. In Slowpo's previous life, he started his presenting career at Manchester's Unity Radio, where he hosted the 'Drive Time' Show for over a year and a half. Slowpo quickly built up his name as a presenter and known for championing up and coming talent, through playing their music and inviting them into the station for interviews. Alongside supporting emerging talent Slowpo was trusted with high level artists interviews such as the likes of Kano, Aitch, Jarreau Vandal & More
