Slimfit

Slimfit is a queer Chinese, Suriname and Dutch multidisciplinary artist, currently residing in Amsterdam. Their practice is focused on artistic and philosophical research, sonic performance and (moving) digital imagery. In their deejay-sets they seam differing genres together into a collage of resonating and energetic sounds. From rhythmic harddrum to emotional techno and hardcore, from post-club and GQOM to contemporary reggaeton and Neo Perreo. Their sets transgress cultural boundaries - just like their origin transcends colonially defined borders and nations. Expect a refreshing musical ride that will most definitely allow you to listen more actively and move in collectivity.
