Sirsax was a director of the famed "Renaissance” single and compilation label and promotion for many years. After promoting hundreds of parties around the world, DJing came at the request of many friends who enjoyed his musical taste and energy. Sirsax has a long musical pedigree including classical music composition and performance training in college, and over 25 years as a professional saxophone player. He saw Sven Vath perform in Irvine, California at age 20, and as a young lad passed out flyer for a bi-weekly promotion called Nectar in LA, and was hooked on electronic music ever since. At Renaissance, being right in the middle of the mind-blowing music and world's most talented and inspiring DJs like Sasha, Hernan Cattaneo, Dave Seaman, Digweed, Zabiela, Fanciulli, and man-behind-the-scenes Marcus James at the height of the Renaissance scene was a great privilege and made an indelible impression, and influenced his style towards the progressive, groovy techno vibe. Over the last few years, Sirsax’s DJ performances have brought him to Bali, Los Angeles, Positano, Koh Samui, the south of France, Ibiza, Mykonos, and London. He’s been a resident at Tri3es in London since 2016. Impeccable melodic, edgy, beautiful and groundbreaking sounds, with a relentless devotion to real musicality, and groovy techno are his signatures.
