Sinhaus has always made it a point to combine a strong passion for dance music with his diverse background and life experiences. A mechanical engineer by day, his spare time is often consumed by his love for electronic music – a love that was only realized once he spent a semester in college studying abroad in Scotland. Although a Sinhaus set today might range anywhere from UK Garage and House to Disco, Techno, and Breaks, one underpinning element is the infectious UK sound that he brought back home. Always keeping one eye towards the next party, Sinhaus has opened for the likes of artists such as Conducta and Luca Lush and also recently graced the stage at Tropical Dreams festival in Sturbridge, MA – bringing a diverse mix of house, garage, techno, and more to the bass stage hosted by Sub•Cul•Ture Music and Arts. He also helped found several nightlife series including the Groove Gallery in 2018 and, more recently, AboveGround in 2021. In 2022, Sinhaus has continued to grow the AboveGround brand by kicking off monthly parties in Cambridge and Somerville, bringing those same sounds he discovered in Scotland across the ocean to Boston, MA. The future has never looked brighter as Sinhaus continues to look for ways to push the boundaries of dance music and continue contributing to the scene that has given him so much already.
