Simone Zino is a DJ and Producer hailing from Milan (Italy). A classically trained musician, he started playing the piano during his teenage years, soon developing an ear for harmonic arrangements and complex melodic compositions, which would eventually morph into his personal Techno style. Clubland came very soon after: a residency at Bolgia from 2008 to 2012 saw him share the stage with some of the biggest names in the scene, while his first releases came out to enthusiastic feedback at that time. Next steps were the Thursday night party Void at Rocket Club from 2015 to 2023 and a string of highly successful appearances at some of Milan’s most renowned clubs: Amnesia Milano and Fabrique, alongside artists such as Charlotte de Witte, Amelie Lens, Nina Kraviz, Marcel Dettmann and Chris Liebing. Gigs at the Social Music City event in Jesolo and at Joseph Capriati’s Redimension showcase at Nordstern (Basel, Switzerland) brought Simone to more international crowds. Summer 2023 saw him join the line-up of the Metamorfosi party at Amnesia Ibiza (with artists such as Paul Kalkbrenner, Indira Paganotto and Luig Madonna), once again under the wing of Capriati himself, who has also welcomed Simone to his Redimension label with a string of highly acclaimed EPs. Simone has released two EPs on Sam Paganini’s JAM label, in 2021 and 2023. The track Volcano reached the top spot at N°1 on Beatport on the Raw/Deep/Hypnotic genre section. He currently manages his own imprint Ratis which features new talents and producers from Milan’s underground scene. He also teaches classes at the 4cmp Music School in Milan as part of the Higher International Diploma and has frequently collaborated with the Giorgio Armani brand as Sound Designer for corporate events in locations such as London, New York and Dubai. He has held masterclasses at Phonica School and at Magnolia Club in Milan focusing on music production and mixing. He describes his style as groovy and dreamy Techno.
