Over the last few years, Simone BG has made some serious waves in the Seattle music scene. Drawn to the deeper side of house and techno, Simone is known for her dark, moody energy woven seamlessly with haunting, ethereal melodies. Her style is evocative and captivating, highlighting the intricate elements of her selections. She joined the Studio 4/4 family in 2021 as one of their newest residents and has played for many local events including Habitat, Flammable, LOST, Uniting Souls, Shameless, Noise Complaint, and Depth. Simone has also had the pleasure of supporting many international headliners, including Hot Since 82, Green Velvet, Franky Wah, DJ Holographic, Musumeci, Sultan & Shepard, Andrew Bayer, Friend Within, Nala, Denney, Lubelski, Pleasurekraft, Juliet Fox, Guy Mantzur, Jeremy Olander, and more. She also opened Insomniac's first Day Trip music festival in Seattle in 2022, featuring Tony H, Anabel Englund, Anna Lunoe, James Hype, Lee Foss, Purple Disco Machine, Duke Dumont, and Kaytranada, and she will perform at Seattle's 50th anniversary of Bumbershoot Music & Arts Festival this September alongside Fatboy Slim, A-trak, Maya Jane Coles, Zhu, and more. Born and raised on Capitol Hill, Simone’s love for Seattle is matched only by her love of dance music, and she is dedicated to bringing the two together in new and exciting ways.
