Born in the millennium, a representative of the new generation of China's underground music scene, SilkBoi returned to China from Los Angeles in 2019 and has been organizing and participating in various party scenes as a DJ/Promoter, as one of the creative unit Pulse and a member of the pioneering music label S!LK, he has been active in both domestic and international underground music scenes While his unique live sound has left its mark all around China, he is also constantly exploring the boundaries between mainstream and underground, electronic and hip hop, from Brooklyn Drill and London's Rave Sound to Stockholm's Cloud Rap and familiar pop music, his Dj sets are always full of unexpected surprises. He has been active in the underground music scene both at home and abroad, you can find his name on Resident Advisor, i-D China, IF-ONLY, Runner Detroit, HYPEBEAST, NTS and so on, moreover he has appeared as a DJ and Guest with promoters like PREME, Yeti Out, Gully Riddim, Out Of Fashion Boys, THUR THUR THUR and other parties. In 2020, he appeared as the youngest musician on Shanghai pioneer label Genome6.66 Mbp to release a charity music compilation "Club Shanzai Bootleg Compilation”, and PULSE EDITS PACK Vol. 1 with his home label Pulse in 2022. Outside of the party scene, his sound has been featured at events all around the world such as Arsenale Venice, Italy; Coma Sydney, Australia; Louie Vuitton New York, HOOD BY AIR, Craig Green, A Better Feeling, Adidas Original, INTERSECT, Ego Fetch by PH-1 and many more.
