NYC's Shy Eyez holds a residency at Brooklyn's Bossa Nova Civic Club, where she DJs regularly in addition to running a bimonthly Thursday night dedicated to drum 'n' bass, bass, breaks and non-four-to-the-floor-techno. Drawing continual inspiration from parties such as Dub War (RIP) and Reconstrvct, her sets span countless genres – from techno to breakbeat to classic dubstep and beyond. In the last two to three years, she's landed gigs DJing for Discwoman and Confused House as well as appeared on lineups alongside names such as A Made Up Sound, Loefah, Martyn, Kyle Hall, Nick Höppner, Joey Beltram, Mumdance, Galcher Lustwerk and Bruce. In addition to her monthly show on Bristol's Noods Radio, she's done guest mixes for Rinse FM, NTS Radio, WNYU, The Lot Radio and Radar Radio. Started in July 2016, her recurring BreakZ party has hosted sets from Matrixxman, Dieselboy, Batu, Neuroshima, Parris and Dave Q.
