While tech house was booming in San Diego, he was more drawn to the subtleties of jazz, synths, and minimalist samples. Shua’s travels—from the dance floors of Ibiza, Amsterdam, and Berlin to the tropical rhythms of Colombia—have shaped his eclectic style. During his time spent living on the island of Grenada, Shua brought authentic house music to an unfamiliar scene eventually establishing a club residency and throwing intimate cliffside sets. Influenced by artists like Chaos in the CBD and ANOTR, Shua blends classic sounds with deeper house beats, offering a journey that both resonates with the crowd and remains distinctly original.
