In 2005, Shigeki made his international debut at Happy in Singapore; this spurred his subsequent relocation to the island nation three years later. Having relocated to one of Southeast Asia's nightlife hubs, Shigeki grew his international following: he has been a regular guest DJ for Atlantis Cruises and has spun in clubs and festivals all over the region. Locally he has graced the decks at Ku De Ta Singapore, Velvet Underground, Tanjong Beach Club, White Rabbit, Kilo Lounge, House at Dempsey, The Vault, Play, Rewind, Stereolab and Privé. Over the years he has supported big international acts including François K, Robert Owen, Miguel Migs, Kiko Navarro, Terranova and Horse Meat Disco. Shigeki currently holds residencies at Woobar at W Singapore Sentosa Cove, Kyō and PS.Cafe ASH Park. His music styles are diverse and eclectic, and he blends between genres seamlessly from deep to soulful to tech house, classic to cosmic to nu disco and downtempo electronica, always with a sense of fun.
