Shelbatra is a Brussels-based DJ, vocalist and artist. (She’s been active in the Belgian underground music scene since many years, as a vj, dancer and performer. She comes from a musical family, her sister being a reputed dj in the Belgian scene.) She creates energetic and sometimes provocative performances, music, and films. In 2022, her voice and songwriting shaped the EP "Electronik Body Girl," released on the UK-label Emotional Response, in collaboration with DJ Sofa. Currently, she hosts her bi-monthly residency "Adaptability" on radio LYL following her avid taste for discoveries and classics. Her energetic DJ sets shift bpm, vibes, and genres, creating cathartic dance experiences driven by algorithmic serendipity. The term "anime-rave" has been used to describe her DJ performances, underlining the surreal character of her events and iconic visions.
