Working at Platinum Records Seattle (2000-2003) connected Shaun with other artists and local promoters and frequently DJ'd events at NAF Studios, Club FX, and various underground afterhours/clubs. Shaun held a weekly residency on Seattle’s Groovetech Internet radio/livestream broadcast. In 2003, Shaun left Platinum Records to work for Rane Corporation as their Technical DJ Expert and in 2004 helped launch Serato’s Scratch Live DJ program. From 2004-2014, Shaun spearheaded Rane’s evolvement with Seattle’s legendary Decibel Music Festival. Shaun was one of the designers of Rane’s infamous MP2015 rotary DJ mixer released in 2015. Fast forward 8 years to now, almost 30 years since his first rave, and you’ll find Shaun doing what he loves, dancing to house and techno music, promoting events, or behind the decks playing his favorite tracks. Just in 2022, Shaun performed at Viva Recordings monthly, This! At Monkey Loft to a sold out crowd as a supporting artist for Rodriquez Jr. He performed a couple times at Tremulant parties in Seattle’s underground scene. As well as Reflect’s Afterglow end of Summer Festival in Bellingham and Upstream Festival in Darrington. Shaun not only DJ’d or assisted with sound production and gear rental to the Seattle scene but he became an active promoter and party throwing assistant for Seattle’s Shameless Productions. Assisting in production on over 18 successful parties, Memorial Day Hijinks, Deck’d out Summer series and New Years Day Party, The Breakfast Club on 1/1/23.
