Shaun Soomro is one of London’s finest selector’s. A regular at the infamous fabric club and creative director of LMD Recordings who have released with artists such as Ion Ludwig, Peter Inspirescu, Thomas Melchior & Ricardo Villalobos. As a producer his tracks “Panorama Dawn”, “Hope For Sorrow” and“Aquaplaning On The Secret Freeway” have been supported and played by the likes of Carl Craig, Richie Hawtin, Ben UFO & Craig Richards. Growing up in the W10 area of London Shaun had a rich musical environment to absorb from. Honest Jon's and Dub Vendor, were the first record shops he started digging for records in which began his passion for artists like: Miles Davis, Sun RA, King Tubby & Pink Floyd. His first glimpse of a party atmosphere was hearing the sound systems from the Notting Hill Carnival roll through his street. The early 90's was a golden era for UK underground dance music that Shaun was lucky to have witnessed first hand, from listening to UK Garage artists like R.I.P. Productions and Tuff Jam at Gas Club to Drum & Bass artists like Dillinja and Source Direct at the Blue Note. These experiences were the foundations that helped shape and influence what Shaun does musically till this day. Pirate radio was the catalyst to push Shaun to being recognised by a wide audience. Shaun built a loyal following which led him to host his own weekly prime time Saturday night show on Rude FM
