Shatter Hands

Since his debut EP 'This is Why We Can't Have Nice Things' (2011), Johan Klinkvort a.k.a Shatter Hands has taken a position as one of the biggest talents on the European future beat scene. Based on his schooling as a hip-hop DJ and producer, he has moved beyond common genre conventions to instead explore the borderland between samples, synthesisers and field recordings. Shatter Hands has toured with Den Sorte Skole (2013 and 15), performed live at Copenhagen Jazz Festival (2014 and '16) and had his DJ residency at Roskilde Festival in 2019. He has had guest shows, features and mixes on XLR8R , Worldwide FM and NTS Radio and most recently co-hosted in 2020, the monthly show 'Dust with Shatter' on MMH Radio.
