Sharpson is an Irish independent multi-genre Backwards DJ, Producer and the label boss of Choki Biki Records. His unique sound is directly influenced by his upbringing on 90’s UK Rave music, ranging from Acid, Breakbeat, House, Techno and Drum & Bass, combined with his affinity with the Dublin Hip-Hop scene, giving his productions signature 'Dublin Mannerisms'. His style of DJing has garnered worldwide attention due to the fact that he performs with the decks backwards. Sharpson has garnered a name for himself through his diverse range of music productions and his signature sound of integrating ‘Dublin mannerisms’ into his tracks. His music has been released on the likes of Claude VonStroke's Label Dirtybird, Riva Starr’s Snatch! Records, Deborah De Luca’s Solamente and many more. Sharpson's high quality productions have been supported by the likes of Deborah De Luca, Rebuke, BKLAVA, Xenia, DJ Gigola and have been featured on music platforms such as Ministry of Sound, HÖR Berlin, BLANC, Rinse FM, Nialler9 and Four Four. Starting off DJing at local house parties at the young age of 14, Sharpson has continued his DJing career til present, and has performed in venues and festivals across Europe such as the 02 ABC in Glasgow, Storm Club (CZ), The Masked Ball (UK), and Snowbombing Festival (AU) just to name a few. His DJ sets on Youtube have accumulated thousands of hits due to his unique style of playing: DJing with the decks backwards. Sharpson also produces for a number of projects including for Hip-Hop duos Wax White and 5th Element. He also performs live as ‘Double Screen’, Sharpson’s first musical project, an electronic band that caters to fans of Electronica, IDM and Deep House.
