SHARNIE
Biografía
Brought up on the sounds of Birmingham, a melting pot of cultures, styles and music, Sharnie has emerged a DJ able to mix the most off-beat dubs with jazz to the dirtiest, darkest breaks.
Drawn to unique influences of the relatively unknown and lawless, Sharnie uses original combinations of heavy bass and warped tones of UK garage, 2 step, as well as stripped back early dubstep to leave you in disbelief and soleless.
A natural at mixing 120 - 170bpm, the unrelenting pace has given her the training and adaptability to rise through the ranks and she’s asserting herself as a forerunner in the second wave UK bruk scene alongside the Dance Regular and Coop Presents crews. Sharnie’s confident but quiet demeanor and feminine essence are the recipe for loose dancefloors which she lays witness to, time and time again.
Collating tunes for over a decade, her monthly show on Soho radio brings forth the freshest electronic music releases and reemerging UK genres, solidifying her status as a top selector on, and off air.
Sharnie is a step ahead of the rest and can be found in her element on stages at Outlook, We Out Here, Fabric, Keep Hush as well as Rinse fm, Reprezent and countless clubs across the county.
