She has also shared the stage at a two-floor takeover event alongside Yung Singh, Surusinghe, and Moktar — some huge names in the industry.
In addition to her DJ career, Sharan is dedicated to using her platform to amplify marginalised voices and inspire the next generation of young women to step into the music industry. She produces radio content for Out of Focus, an online platform that champions underrepresented voices through music, events, and interviews.
Sharan is also deeply involved in community work, leading DJ workshops for young women. Most recently, she ran a six-week programme with Decks in The City in Liverpool, empowering young people to discover their creative potential. She also serves as a trustee for the charity Getaway Girls, a Leeds-based organisation where she first learned to DJ as a teenager. In her role as a mentor, Sharan provides DJ training and support to young women, offering them opportunities to gain confidence and pursue their passions in music.
