Shael has been a prominent figure of Winnipeg's underground dance scene for over 15 years as a DJ and advocate of quality electronic music. Primarily a house music enthusiast, Shael pushes a variety of house sounds and is well known for her energetic, heart-felt and tastefully crafted sets aimed to take listeners and dancers on a musical journey. With her years of experience, combined with impeccable track selection, she's established herself as a formidable house DJ in Canada, while also showcasing a diverse selection of other electronic sounds as such techno, disco, and ambient. Shael has curated DJ mixes for a number of exclusive record label podcasts and radio shows, and has performed at renowned Canadian festivals such as MEME (Manitoba Electronic Music Exhibition), Connect, and AEMCON (Alberta Electronic Music Conference.) She's also been a long-time resident of Symptom Technologies, a well-known underground Winnipeg DJ collective. Currently Shael organizes and promotes forward thinking electronic music events with Symptom Technologies, and is collaborating with other artists and promoters to help keep the underground music scene flourishing in Winnipeg. She continues to DJ locally around central Canada, while building connections throughout the international house music community.
