The name "serpentskirt" , a track from the Cocteau Twin's "Milk &Kisses" references Alex's musical affinities that spans shoegaze, punk, experimental dub techno, minimal techno, trance, acid, and EBM. She believes there is an intrinsic connection between these kinds of music and seeks to share those ideals with the dancefloor. She runs the electro based party "Kismet" in Bushwick, Brooklyn and can often be found spinning all over the neighborhood. She has recorded for No Signal, and Newtown Radio on repeated occasions.
