Sensoma first encountered Goa trance in 1998, and immediately understood that this music and the trance party ritual is a spiritual technology with the power to open the heart and mind to alignment with universal consciousness. It's also incredibly fun to dance to! After years as a devoted trance dancer, deco artist and party maker, Sensoma began playing DJ sets around 2008, and has been bringing his particular blend of high-energy active meditation music to forest parties and festivals ever since. He's played sets in Amsterdam, Belgium, Goa, Portugal (unofficially at Boom festival), and around the United States. A longtime member of the T.O.U.C.H. Samadhi trance family based in the southeastern USA, in 2021 Sensoma began producing original tracks in collaboration with T.O.U.C.H. Samadhi founder Kri Samadhi, and an album from the duo is in the works. In addition to psychedelic trance, Sensoma collects and plays psy-techno, chillout/downtempo, and Middle Eastern dance music (dabke, electro-chaabi). He is also a regular DJ on Burning Man's FM radio station, BMIR.
