What do we look for when we go out dancing? Whatever the moment, whatever the dacefloor, most certainly Señor Pelota has found, collected and prepared the right record for the right happiness. Because he knows all about it. André Soares aka Señor Pelota journey began in 1998, during the golden era of Raves and illegal parties that he himself helped to organize, immediately marking the brand that everyone recognizes in him: he is a DJ who is also a host. As a DJ, he played on stages of all national and international sizes and latitudes: clubs like Lux, Gare, Ministerium, Music Box, 5A or Plano B, to the most esteemed festivals like: Super Bock Super Rock, Sudoeste, Boom Festival, Creamfileds, Brunch Electronic or Millions of Feast; Abroad, Goa, Rio de Janiero, Amsterdam, Madrid, Barcelona, Cape Verde and Berlin, have also seen him in action. Long experience as resident DJ and booker in reference venues, bars and clubs, such as: Velvet, Mood in Bairro Alto, Bar do Bruno in Praia do Baleal and Esperam’entrado in Zambujiera do Mar; Lisbon Hotels as Corpo Santo, Marriott and Corinthia Soul Garden. For the past 10 years he has been responsable for the monthly residence “Mutante” at the smal but famous club Lounge, which also started as a weekly radio show on Antena 3 and now exists as mixtape on Sbsr.fm radio. Yes, radio is a passion that came to stay. Addicted to wax and owner of an impressive - and enviable - collection of records that covers truly eclectic territories, which led him to be responsible for the Bloop Vinyl Shop In Lisbon. OITO//OITO is the latest project/label that he shares with Dupplo since 2019, from which came out some re-edits, remixes and an EP of originals coming out soon on vinyl. Señor Pelota always presents intense sets that travel shamelessly through the di erent bpm’s and rhythmic temperatures. House, Techno, Electro, Acid or Disco; alway expect the unecpected. But one thing is certain: Behind the decks, commanding the dance floor, the same smile as always. His joy is our happiness.
