Semprey is inspired by the East Coast club music, sounds from Latin America, Carribbean, UK’s hard drum and trap, but won’t ignore traditional sounds of techno, house and jungle. His DJ sets are eclectic. Classic 4×4 tracks are cut like Jersey club tunes. Tempos are constantly juggled. Charting tunes are the spice. Semprey has a knack for pop edits, making them his own tracks, blending together all his musical interests. His debut EP Balanga was released in 2020 by Tańce and utilised the droning trance of Polish folklore to create a brand new sound for club music. He has made a mark for himself as a producer to watch. Picked up by Mexico’s Hypersonics, he recorded his own romantic take on reggeaton and baile funk on 2022’s EP Cala. Semprey had a great 2022, with an abroad debut at Germany’s Fusion Festival, local appearances at Czeluść and Saltwave festivals as well as major clubs such as Prozak 2.0, Tama and FOMO.
