Co-Founder of arguably Southern California’s most successful weekly dance music event, Seek-One has carved a name for himself in the hotbed of Los Angeles’ thriving electronic music scene. This project initiated, with a singular goal in mind: Establish and maintain a space for local artists to share their creativity with the community. That was over four years ago. Today, “Space Taco” is a household name in SoCal, but it doesn’t stop there. Seek-One’s passion for the scene grew exponentially, spurring the creation of Space Brains Gathering, the keystone bi-monthly party under the Space Taco Collective, and eventually his own Record Label – SPOON FED RECORDS in summer of 2019. Aside from hosting some of the baddest parties in LA, Seek-One’s true passion is geared towards beat production and running his label. His sound is characteristically dense, it is dirty - it is unequivocally the embodiment of the “Space Taco Sound.” Out of the gate, Seek-One’s solidified his taste for heavy bass lines & irresistible hooks with his release ‘Gurl’ on House of Hustle’s Compilation “LA Hustle 2018.” The very next year, in collaboration with fellow producer Dylan Coss, Seek-One signed on to Slightly Sizzled Records chart topping release Hot Off The Grill Vol. 1 with his track ‘Child Support’, bringing his music to the forefront of the Space Taco Collective and bustling LA Tech-House community. It was at this pivotal time in Seek-One’s artistic development that his desires for heading his own label finally came to fruition. In fall of 2019 SPOON FED RECORDS dropped its first Comp Album, Big Bites Vol.1, marking a groundbreaking release not just for the label, but for Seek-One as well. The dark vocals and hard-flung kicks on his collab with Dylan Coss - ‘Donut’ & his solo project ‘Up in the Place’ both encapsulate the sound this artist strives for every time he is in the studio. Little Bites Vol.1 followed up soon after, marking a successful b2b #1 release on Seek’s fresh new Imprint and once again proving his inimitable acuity for Heavy Tech with ‘Monster’. Top quality Tech House is his hallmark and his strong work ethic and attention to detail have garnished collaborations with artists such as DIRTY BIRD’S Holt 88, El Monk & Jaskan, as well as House of Hustle’s Skonka & Fantom Freq. 2020 is going to be a pivotal year for Seek- One as his label enters its 2nd calendar year and his releases continue to turn the heads of key players in this burgeoning industry. “Papa Taco”, as his followers lovingly name him, is constantly keeping his creativity occupied in the production studio as well as operating Space Taco and SPOON FED RECORDS.
