His exposure to the Drop Bass Network/Chicago/Detroit warehouse scene in the mid 90s instilled a DIY attitude toward sound system culture which Screendoor still pursues in his promotion efforts, continuing the tradition of loud, clear sound on proper systems, in unique environments, hosting a range of ambient, dub, disco, techno, house and bass music events. His passion also resulted in the creation of Niche Style / Sound, a vinyl/fashion hub that lasted four years before succumbing to the realities of the current state of the music industry. With efforts now focused fully on production and label management, Screendoor’s musical passion continues unabated.
