Schlindwein (Christopher Marin Schmid) is a Producer and Songwriter from Berlin. At the age of 5 he began to take classical piano lessons. He showed his teacher first attempts of own compositions when he was 8 years old. So the urge to express himself through music showed itself quite early. Influenced through the melodic and harmonic beauty of Chopin, Liszt and Debussy he was constantly looking for a style which could match this expressiveness of emotion in the 21st Century. At the same time, the impressions of clubnights and festivals, where he was exposed to minimal, techno, house and electro, coined its way into his matrix. The groove, the joy, the emotion which could drive a whole crowd with small musical elements – the sound of our generation! He played with friends in Indie -and experimental Rockbands, and soon began writing songs and producing them on his own. What started as a hobby would soon become a passion which wouldn’t let him go so easily.
