Sarah Assi, better known by her artist name SAS, is a young DJ and producer who draws creative energy from sounds that are harsh, raw, and industrial. Her career as an artist got off to an early start, and she has already given performances in a variety of locations, cities, and notable venues. The artist goes beyond the boundaries of her typical dark industrial techno by demonstrating her production abilities. Even though SAS has only been producing music for a little over a year, the artist already has tracks that are supported by well-known names such as Paula Temple, SNTS, Aida Arko, Vendex, SPFDJ, MACKA, Roni Rix, and many others. Her production style revolves around the layering of sounds and the exploration of dark grooves and spooky atmospheres. Within the span of just one year, SAS has collaborated on decks with famous artists such as Nico Moreno, Parfait, Jacidorex, Cassie Raptor, Aida Arko, Vendex, and AnD, amongst others. She established the one and only collective known as EKSTASIS in Beirut, bringing hard techno to the Lebanese techno scene with the intention of intimacy and providing a platform for self-expression. Since then, she has been collaborating with her business partner Rooney Nasr, and the two of them officially launched their label on December 23, 2022. Sarah and Rooney had invited many acts from other countries to perform in their home country Lebanon, which is where the majority of their events are held. Ekstasis made its debut in June 2021 with Nico Moreno performing as their main headliner. Since then, several artists have performed with them, including Vendex, Parfait, Cassie Raptor, Aida Arko, 753, and a great number of others.
