Samu
Biografía
Influenced by his his father and late uncle, who worked together in the 80's and 90's during the epic cultural era in Valencia . They co-managed a record label and hosted performances and acts in one of the largest discotheques in the world. This behind-the-scene experience taught Samu much about the work and life of a deejay.
Passionate of music since a child, the influences of funk, metal, hip-hop, jazz and breaks are present in his productions. But techno constitutes a fundamental piece of his initial works, with the sets characterized by fury and force. Yet his Berlin first period, was decisive in forming him as a true professional.
As a consequence, it opened his vision of the dance floor and loosened him from the revolutionary sounds, evolving into an elegant and sober style. One that denotes freshness and dynamics.
In 2008 he realized one of his dreams, teaming up as a producer and co-owner for the label Novo Music. The quality productions and the great feedback from several DJ’s and artists soon boosted the business, with a need to expand over frontiers.
His productions have been supported by many, including Richie Hawtin, Laurent Garnier, Marco Carola, Dubfire, Kerri Chandler, Maceo Plex, Magda, Brett Johnson, Paco Osuna, Just Be (Layo & Bushwacka), Luna City Express - just to name a few.
