Sam Spade
Biografía
Growing up in an era where 303 and 808 synths and loops were king, Sam first picked up the headphones in 2000. Learning to mix on Vinyl playing the sounds of Kan Cold, D.E.R.B, A.S.Y.S, and Kai Tracid to name a few.
Being a regular in the DJ comp scene in Sydney to prove he had the skills required to make people dance, he was victorious in the Transmission Magic City DJ comp in 2008, earning a set on the main stage supporting Technoboy, Noisecontrollers, J.T.B and Chuck-E.
Sam held residency at one of Sydneys longest running Hard Dance institutions, Sublime, normally playing the morning sunrise set filled with Classics he grew up on.
As time moved on, Sams sound evolved into Hardstyle, enjoying the solid kicks and basslines which were dominating the sound at the time, which led him to be the First Australian DJ booked to play Hardstyle in the U.S.A at Kandy Fest and then uprise LA
After a brief hiatus, Sam realised he was missing something. This something was making people dance, so he picked his headphones up again and got back to where he left.
Sam now plays regularly at Masif Nightclub in Sydney, and has gone full circle by playing Hard Techno again which he will forever class as Schranz, just like the music that got him into the love of Electronic Music in the First place. He has been fortunate enough to Support Space 92, Airod, plus a host of other DJ's in this time, and he will be sure to support more his energetic passion he always shows behind the decks.
