Hailing from the Pacific Northwest, Inquiry Collective co-founder Sam Drank has made a name for himself in San Francisco’s blossoming techno scene—always emitting an infectious yet enigmatic energy from behind the decks. After cutting his teeth DJing over the years, he’s honed in on his signature sound: often dark, always emotive, driving techno. Sam’s musical passion began early through exposure to experimental music via his mother, and continued to develop over late nights in the Mojave Desert, early mornings in Black Rock City, and countless hours spent grooving on diverse dance floors around the world.
