Started DJ-ing inspired by John Digweed ethernal sets in the early years of 2000. His first residency begun in the summer of 2005 in his hometown, on a ex communist prison transformed in a bar, named Fantasy . Everything was possible with a Pioneer CMX 3000 console , one Behringer DJX 700 mixer, the legendary Sony MDR-V700DJ headphones and friends united by the same wave : house music . Friends like DJ One, Dj Apex & MC Brasil, helped SALAS to understand the passion for electronic music and in 2007, while he was working at the local radio station Plus Fm, he concluded that it's time for a radio show dedicated to house music . For 3 years, every thursday night starting 10 to 12 pm, Global Beats was a musical alternatve for the young generations at the east border of Romania in the impecunious Vaslui county. Today , SALAS lives in Bucharest and he is part of an ambitious project named Deep House Bucharest. At the events you can find him behind the decks at warm-up or the afterhours among the resident DJ's Major Ross and Bross .
