Born in Egypt and now based in Naarm, Safe has been pushing the boundaries of sound by creating sets that traverse UK Bass, Dembow, Global Club, Jersey and a plethora of techno sub-genres. Drawing inspiration from his background, he incorporates traditional Arabic instrumentation in his sets and productions, creating a unique listening experience for the crowd that resonates long after the night is over. He’s made his mark at iconic venues such as Xe54, New Guernica and Brown Alley and Bourke St Courtyard, and his ever-evolving sets has landed him slots supporting international acts like Marcel Dettmann (GER), VTSS (POL), Malugi (GER), Yasmin Gardezi (IRE) and Kendal (FRA). Beyond the booth, his unreleased work has gained support from VTSS (POL), Nina Las Vegas (AUS), Shampain (IRE) and received airplay by FOURA (AUS) on Triple J's 'Friday Mix-Up'. Safe has also made noise on local airwaves, appearing on Area3000 and Triple R, and hosting his own radio show on Area3000, 'Munra'. Safe continues to work on his craft and push the boundaries of the music industry.
