Growing up in Sydney, Ryan gained experience across the city’s premier music venues like Oxford Art Factory and World Bar before moving to Berlin in 2016 where he first combined live guitar into his series of resident DJ sets at the club Panke for Deck2Deck. During the pandemic, Diefenbach refined his sound and style in a multitude of video performances and sonic experiments recorded deep in the wilderness of Norway, strongly influencing his unique live setup of various synthesizers. Now a resident artist for the Oslo-based label Nomaden, Ryan Diefenbach is becoming a name in the Norwegian scene with performances including at SALT, Storgata 26, Hausmania, Esperanto, and the Epiphany podcast - opening for artists like Super Flu and Solvané. Although there is more original music in the pipeline for 2022, the dynamic combination of instruments is something best experienced first-hand from the dance floor.
