Living in the city, he was lucky enough to grow through the Sankeys era where he played between the years 2010-2015. These days Ryan is Resident DJ for Orderly Conduct @ Ark, a residency spanning every Friday for 6 years. On Saturdays, Ryan can be seen regularly spinning Disco at Shack in NQ, to supporting big Techno DJs at Joshua Brooks or Gorilla. In the daytime he focuses his attention towards client based work in the fashion industry; Being Selfridges Resident DJ for 5 years has lead to private DJ work for clients such as Louis Vuitton, Off-White, Christian Louboutin, Jimmy Choo & Michael Kors. He also plays for Beyond90, DJing in the Tunnel Club for Manchester City's games at the Etihad Stadium. During the week Ryan turns his attention to the studio, where he incorporates his musical influences of Funk, Soul, Jazz, & Minimalism with House & Techno. _________________________________________________________________ DJing has been his full-time passion and job since the age of 15 when he used to play for his school friends birthday parties in Poulton-le-Fylde. Soon after moving through the ranks in the local bar scene he gained his first major club gigs at the age of 17 at The Syndicate Superclub in Blackpool, the biggest club in the UK at its time with a capacity of 5000. There he playing alongside many Trance & House music legends (Ferry Corsten, Eric Prydz, to name a few). Ryan was then scouted by Club Sanuk, securing a 3 year residency for the infamous Sanuk Sundays. At the age of 19, an old school friend turned club promoter, booked Ryan to play at the legendary Sankeys in Manchester, which resulted in him securing a monthly residency for the whole year, firstly in the bar, then upstairs in the wonderfully intimate Spektrum, even gaining the sought-after midnight set on NYE before Lee Foss. Ryan’s evolving skill set soon caught the eye of various Manchester promoters, and as a result, soon made a permanent move to the city. In 2012 Ryan went on to hold the notorious Wednesday night BassFace residency at Sound Control, securing the city's busiest & messiest student hotspot for 2 years. Off the back of Bassface's success he was scouted by the Riff Raff events crew and began two new residencies; every Friday for Orderly Conduct at Ark, the busiest Student night in the city & an awaited return to Sankeys in the form of Monday night resident for the After Dark brand. In 2015 he played for worldwide brands such as Tribal Sessions & Covert, securing spots at Gorilla, Albert Hall, Victoria Warehouse & Ministry of Sound, supporting some of the biggest names in the business (Marco Carola, Sasha, The Martinez Bros, Darius Syrossian, Patrick Topping, Sonny Fodera, wAFF.. to name a few).
