These experiences not only shaped his identity but also honed his skills behind the decks and microphone, revealing his capacity to breathe life into the creative visions of his collaborators. His innate talent was further refined and expanded through mentorship under the guidance of Doriana Sanchez, a seasoned professional with a portfolio including works with Cher, Cirque Du Soleil, and SYTYCD. Through this mentorship, Rush transcended his limitations, gaining invaluable experience. Continuing to impact the artistic landscape, Rush serves as a creative director, steering the developmental paths of various artists. His portfolio (Serpentwithfeet, THEY, Afropunk) boasts an impressive array of achievements, spanning from steering album rollouts and music videos to shaping brand identities and live performances. As a revered producer and songwriter, Rush Davis has garnered notable credits collaborating with esteemed names such as Shaun Ross, Taraji P. Henson, Kelly Rowland, Afrojack, Tylah Yaweh, George Clinton, Duke Dumont, Tokimonsta, Kaytranada, SZA, Rochelle Jordan, Doja Cat, and many more. He shares two albums, "Transmission" and "XMSN DS," available across all streaming platforms, a testament to his enduring partnership and creative synergy with longtime friend and collaborator Kingdom, released under the YoungArt/FadeToMind label. His recent endeavors include venturing into event production with the establishment of his celebrated seasonal Tuesday party, "Never Forget A Face," in Downtown Los Angeles.
