RUIX
Biografía
RUIX is a sonic architect dissolving borders between Mexican tradition and Nordic innovation. A self-taught pianist raised on Mexico’s folkloric richness, his transition to electronic music began under Northern Europe’s underground pulse. Now, he crafts genre-fluid journeys where hypnotic percussions collides with euphoric symphonies and funk-laced basslines.
As co-founder of HBDC, RUIX curates daytime forest raves in Sweden, merging ritualistic rhythms with immersive nature to forge deep communal connections. Behind the decks at Stockholm’s intimate SLM and select European hubs, his DJ sets are rhythmic rituals: dynamic, emotive, and full spectrum journeys that blur vintage motifs with future club aesthetics through different moods, genres and multicultural influences.
Beyond dancefloors, RUIX’s studio work—slated for 2025 releases — explores ever evolving narratives through eclectic, organised chaos. His mission? To prove underground culture thrives not through trends, but by embracing playfulness, purpose, and the radical act of uniting disparate worlds. Whether igniting forest clearings or basement clubs, RUIX reimagines electronic music as a borderless dialogue that brings back a lost sense of community —raw, intentional, and irresistibly alive.
