RUBEN SAHUN has been connected to electronic music from a very young age. What began as a fascination with late-night radio shows and the art of mixing turned into a real journey in September 1998, when a spontaneous encounter with a friend who shared the same passion led to his first DJ sets at a local club. That venue became his testing ground, where he refined his technique and shaped the sound that still represents him today. As a producer, he fuses the energy of progressive house with the melodic sensitivity of house and techno. His music has been released on labels such as Polypitch, YHV Records, and Critical Sounds, and has gained support from artists like David Guetta, Korolova, and Cosmic Gate. His latest release was supported by both Korolova and David Guetta, reaching #67 on Beatport’s Melodic Techno Hype Chart and entering the Top 100 Melodic Techno (#98). His tracks have been highlighted in Beatport’s Hi Picks and have achieved notable positions in the progressive and melodic techno charts on both Beatport and Traxsource. In addition to his releases, Ruben is the founder of Melodic World, an independent label focused on melodic electronic music with its own identity. He also co-founded ElectroNature, a project that records DJ sets in natural and culturally significant locations, aiming to connect music with the environment in a deeper way.
