Born through alchemy, Rubedo Walker is an expression to a deeper emotive side to this talented artist. Delivering a unique style of deep and uplifting melodic house, tinged with tribal tones and groove laden techno, his sets span the full electronic music spectrum to also include breaks and electro. There is nothing more personal to Rubedo then to create an elevated emotion and connection on the dance floor. Growing up listening to 80's synth pop, RnB and electro, then into the sound of hardcore and drum & bass. His love for electronic music expanded into house and techno which he has shared in clubs and radio under different guises. His DJ style has evolved along with his production but always maintaining a soulful injection into whatever he creates. His first production signing was picked up by 4 time grammy nominated Kenny Dope's Dope Wax Records and his Problem Remix of Come Back Baby has been championed by figure heads like Seth Troxler all the way to Mr After Party. Now working on a new two track EP with a unique pairing with the band called No Mad Karma. He has combined sounds of Kazakhstan alongside Preston Herman who is the prolific drummer to Kate Bush, Massive Attack’s Unfinished Synphony and Tin Tin Out. To various life experiences, success and failure, relationships led by emotions, Rubedo's sound is a mirror of his journey: emotive, layered, uplifting and mature. A history of djing and producing to writing with lead vocalists and top 100 Beatport charting, now is the perfect time for the new Rubedo Walker guise to take hold. His past includes a 3 year residency at London’s Ministry of Sound to performing at notable festivals and clubs across Asia, Europe and Ibiza, with sets ranging from 2–8 hours and then 12 hours for charity. Having also voiced a new scene in Sri Lanka he has shared his love of quality music to proposing the first international night club to Parliament. Now crediting his young rave days he not one to shy away from seeking new ground. Discovering obscure art and visuals and fusing them with music a terms he calls OOM. A connection which is not driven by thought but more intuitive, fusing electronic music, art and visuals at the same time to give a immersive experience.
